Anchored in Art: The Creative Journey of Rob Micallef

Rob Micallef grew up in the Providence arts scene—no wonder the state’s symbol is an anchor; it hooks you! In 2013, he moved to NYC to collaborate with fellow creatives and make a difference through art.

By day, Rob mixes media production, market research, and photography, telling the stories of hardworking laborers through everything from web design to videos. His camera’s taken him all over the U.S., from rallies to construction sites.

Off the clock, he freelances, jams on drums, piano, and trumpet, and travels the world. Rob now lives in Sea Cliff, NY with his wife and young son.
